Our Purpose
Mississippi Dental Arts’ purpose is to help our community live longer with a better quality of life by optimizing our patients’ oral and overall health.
My family has been part of the Mississippi Gulf Coast community for generations. I grew up here, and I’ve always called it home. When I was in dental school at LSU, I knew that I’d return someday to open my own practice.
I’m passionate about the relationship between dental health and overall health. With Mississippi Dental Arts, I now have the honor of taking care of a community that took such good care of me.
– Trace Favre, DDS, FAGD
STAYING AT THE FOREFRONT
In line with Dr. Favre’s commitment to providing patients with the very best in dentistry, we are excited to share that as of 2023, he is a graduate of the world-renowned Kois Center in Seattle. The Kois Center is a continuing education center for top dentists from around the world. This was a multi-year commitment Dr. Favre undertook that involved repeated trips to Seattle for hands-on clinical courses to further expand his expertise in the latest restorative treatments and technologies. As a graduate, Dr. Favre is proud to be a member of the Kois community. He will attend ongoing seminars and events such as the Annual Symposium with other graduates, so that the spirit of learning and collaboration will continue.
Your First Visit
“This is the most time that any dentist has ever spent talking to me!”
– Every Mississippi Dental Arts patient (that’s our goal at least!)
You might be surprised by the thoroughness of your first visit with us. It all starts with a discussion at a table away from the dental chair where Dr. Favre can learn about your concerns, values, and goals for your health. Next is the co-discovery exam where Dr. Favre works with you to determine your treatment needs.
This philosophy is key to providing you with personalized dental care and helping you achieve optimum long-term health.

At Mississippi Dental Arts, our entire team believes in the power of community. We care for patients of all ages, and we look forward to serving your family.
Dental Implants
Dental implants can be life-changing for a patient. They improve the function of your bite and the appearance of your smile, and they feel like your natural teeth. Dr. Favre specializes in implants, and he loves to see his patients thrilled with the results: being able to chew without pain and smile without feeling self-conscious. Implants are also an excellent treatment for preserving bone mass in a patient’s jaw bone. To date, Dr. Favre has placed hundreds of implants.
